Marcus Chen
Marcus founded Swarm Capital after a decade as a product and engineering leader at Stripe, where he scaled the developer platform from $1B to $50B in payment volume. He has led over 30 seed investments in AI and Fintech, with 7 portfolio companies going on to raise follow-on rounds exceeding $20M. Marcus holds a BS in Computer Science from MIT and an MBA from Wharton. He leads Swarm's Fintech and AI infrastructure investments.
Alexandra Webb
Alexandra brings 15 years of experience spanning enterprise software, machine learning research, and venture investing. Prior to Swarm, she was a Partner at Emergence Capital where she led investments in vertical SaaS companies, and before that she built and scaled the AI research division at Palantir. Alexandra leads Swarm's Enterprise SaaS and applied AI investments. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford.
David Park
David is a serial fintech entrepreneur who founded and sold two financial technology companies before transitioning to venture investing. His first company, a payments API startup, was acquired by Visa in 2018; his second, an AI credit underwriting platform, was acquired by a top-10 US bank in 2021. At Swarm, David leads Fintech investments and provides hands-on support to portfolio companies navigating regulatory and go-to-market challenges.

Sofia Rodriguez
Sofia leads Swarm's operational support function, working directly with portfolio companies on recruiting, go-to-market strategy, and organizational design. Before joining Swarm, she ran global talent acquisition at Salesforce and built the growth function at a high-growth SaaS company from $2M to $18M ARR. Sofia manages Swarm's network of 400+ executive operators who provide advisory support to portfolio companies.
James Liu
James joined Swarm after two years as a software engineer at Google DeepMind followed by an MBA at Columbia Business School. He focuses on deal sourcing and due diligence for AI-native companies, with particular depth in large language model applications, computer vision infrastructure, and autonomous systems. James leads Swarm's technical evaluation process and maintains relationships with the leading AI research communities.
